Things to Know this Week:
We are so thrilled to share that Austin D. Baltz Elementary School has been recognized by the Delaware Department of Education as a Recognition School for 2022. This award is based on terrific average growth for our English Learners on the annual ACCESS test, last spring. The award comes with grant money to plan more exciting things for our students.
Just a few other notes for this week...
- Lost and Found Items- Thanks to all who visited the lost and found during conferences, we will send pictures home this week. There are M-A-N-Y items in there. Great looking, warm items! Please put your child's name in their clothing to help us avoid having their clothing winding up in the Lost and Found. Click here to view items in the lost and found.
- The Book Fair was a big success! Each child will be receiving a free book from Scholastic as a result of the penny drive and the total sales generating bonus Scholastic Dollars! It is exciting to see so much excitement about reading. Special thanks to all who volunteered during the fair. Lastly, huge thanks to Ms. Personti for all she did to make it a big success!
