Dear Parents and Caregivers,
It was wonderful to see many of you last night at Doyon's curriculum night. This school year has felt the 'closest to normal' and welcoming all of you into the school really sealed the deal! Thank you for being our partners in learning.
The Open Door was also present last night. We hope that the fresh produce was enjoyed by all! Open Door will be back next Thursday, 9/29 from 3:00 - 4:15.
This month we are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. Our World Language teacher, Zulima Martin, and ELL teacher Sarah Trotsky will be sharing some information with students during our Friday morning Zoom announcements. All students at Doyon receive spanish instruction on a weekly basis. Ms. Martin not only exposes the students to the spanish language, but also heritage and cultural explorations. See below for some visuals of World Language in action.
Have a fantastic weekend!
