Parent Committee Members Wanted

NISD is always looking to gather parent and community member input and perspective. There are several committees that help each campus operate as efficiently and effectively as possible. If you would like to serve on one of our committees, please email Kim Greer at kgreer@normangeeisd.org

PTO TEACHER GRANTS

The PTO put together a teacher grant program that was a HUGE success! We want to thank them for their commitment to supporting our students and teachers.


They awarded over $4,000 to various teachers at each campus.

Updated Parent Portal

We are aware that Parent Portal was recently updated and it has changed significantly its user experience. We are working to put together a tutorial video giving a tour of the updated Parent Portal. This change was not within our control, but we are committed to ensuring you as parents are able to access your student information efficiently and effectively.

Our boy's and girl's basketball teams just finished great seasons! We are very proud of their efforts and success! Way to go Panthers.

NMS students took part in an Educational Assembly on the dangers of vaping and other drug use and trends. The speaker from Steered Straight did a great job relating these issues to our students and providing a safe and comfortable environment to learn!

Congratulations to our Girls Basketball team that finished their season on Tuesday in the 1st round of the playoffs against a tough Hearne team. Very proud of our girls!


BOYS BASKETBALL DISTRICT CHAMPS! Our Boys BBall team will play face off Tuesday in Cameron vs. Thrall in a 1st round playoff game. Good Luck Coach Todd and the boys.
