ITS Question in Email
What do I do if 1 or 2 out of 13 required posts are missing overall?
You should approve the capstone if the majority plus (meaning only a couple of posts can not be found) posts are visible. You can provide a novice rating under organization and note the missing posts. If the participant meets expectations on the content of their submissions and the overall reflection, you can approve the capstone.
ITS Question in email
Many of the quests lend themselves nicely to sharing of resources and artifacts. If the capstone is missing specific artifacts, do include those items in the feedback for the participant to resubmit. Remember that you can select 2 additional posts outside the required 4 as well.
Example: To meet the standards addressed within the TOOL course, participants should include artifacts and links to additional resources. Please return to Communicate and revise the following posts.
1.1.3 Newsletters - please include a sample newsletter
2.1.3 Rubrics - please include a sample rubric
3.1.1 Synchronous sessions- please include reflection and resources
I will be happy to review your work upon re-submission. Thanks!
Once the participant has addressed the required posts for the capstone, you may verify. If you feel that the other items fell short of expectations, you may include that in your feedback. Something like: Please note that additional artifacts and more in-depth reflections would have enhanced the overall Communicate blog.
Thank you! Thank you!
If you did not have a chance to fill out our PLS survey for Spring 2015, please be sure to do so by Friday, May 1st. Your feedback is important as we move forward with TOOL 2.0.
