Gallipoli Commemeration Day
~LEST WE FORGET~
Honour our Anzacs
World war One started because Archduke Raul Ferdinand was murdered and our Anzac's went to Gallipoli to fight in War and Defend our Country. The impact on the Australians at home would have been devastating knowing their loved ones are in danger. The Australians fought in the Western Front in 1914 in Gallipoli against the Turks as brave young men. That is why we commemorate them, because of their heroic actions. The significance ANZAC day has on Australians is that they are proud to be Australian and remember their soldiers who gave their country freedom
