* Thanks Kelly for attending and sending out this info!
Everyone will have specials/prep on the two practice days prior to May Day Celebration, May 18 & 19. They will be at usual time. Grades 1-5 will have a practice time that won't concern us. I have schedule if you need to know when another grade level is practicing. This practice is in addition to specials.
Kindergarten dance time is on Friday, May 19, prior to the celebration. Teachers are expected to attend with their class. Teachers should take an active role in discipline and helping students learn the dance.

Class/Teacher Requests from Parents
It takes a considerable amount of time and effort in making thoughtful student placement recommendations for the following school year. Your feedback and assistance are very important in this process. Outside the school setting, parents know their children’s strengths, behaviors and challenges. While your child’s current teacher will provide feedback for these placements, we also welcome your input regarding your child’s interests and learning style. Requests for specific teachers will not be honored, however any additional information you can provide will be valued and used in the decision-making process.
****If you would like to be involved in this process, please be sure to email your input to me (Karen Carter) by Friday, May 13th.*****
