Spring's Bright Lights
It's finally here! Spring that is!
Please enjoy the background!
As I write this edition of the Bright Lights, it is with guarded anticipation of starting up the lawn mower and moving outdoor furniture around. As the weather changes, so much of our world and life activities change. The kids certainly enjoy peeling off the coats and wearing shorts to school. I hope you can enjoy some fun times as the days are longer and the temps are up.
Was the burger or ice cream delicious?
Thanks for all of the support for our school's Culver's NIght. It is fun to see the families as they enjoy the food and good times. The kids coming up to me with giggles and wide eyes make the night for me. Thanks again and look forward to the next one.
The latest on the Tower Garden
Below you will see some of the bountiful harvest of vegetables in Mrs. Brown's 5K room. Another garden has been assembled and will be in a new classroom soon.
Ready to eat with a little dressing!
Thyme is on my side.
Amazing, simply amazing.
What are the chances. . . ..?
Grade 3 students in Mr. Frei's accelerated math class presented their probablity projects. They will be obtaining data on the fairness of their games based on the play of visiting students. Google spreadsheets will be created to determine if the players had a chance to win. Good stuff.
Plinko design for fun
Spin the lucky wheel.
Chances to pick the right stick are????
Art work on display
These cool pieces are on display in our library. Mrs. Thelan really helps the kids get the most out of their talent.
We always have HOPE!
On the WILD side.
Can you figure these out?
STUDENT SENATE CARNIVAL IS TONIGHT!
Thanks to the exceptional leadership of Mrs. Niemczyk and Miss Kohnert, our Student Senate, as well as student and staff volunteers, will be hosting a Carnival to raise funds for a new and improved Intermediate School playground. There will be inflatables, carnival games, and concessions, all for the enjoyment of our Primary School students and their families. We hope that you can join us for some fun and prizes.

Keep the NED message in mind as the kids play sports, play in the backyard, or have a board game with the family. Never give up, Encourage others, and Do your best is the NED theme. Thanks, Mike
