Sports Physicians treat, diagnose, and help prevent injuries that occur during sporting events. Also known as SEM, this occupation works with athletes in various sports.
Education and Training requirements
Any sports physician must have a degree in medicine, such as biology, chemistry or any related major in that area of science, and a medical license. Training and learning will take approximately 15 years in total.
