Before Maxima became Queen
Queen Maxima became the first Dutch queen consort since 1890. She is the daughter of Jorge Zorreguieta. She was named after her great-grandmother. Queen Maxima father was the member of the Zorreguieta family who been landed gentry, professionals, regional politicians and statesmen for generations. Queen Maxima grew up in Recoleta neighborhood of the Buenos Aires city, she went to school at Northlands School. She graduated from a University and got her degree in economics. Then she completed her studies with a master’s degree in the United States. Then she worked for a large international finance companies in Argentina, NY and Brussels. She also worked as an English language teacher for children and adults, and then of mathematics for high school students and freshmen. She got married to Willem-Alexander.

Queen Maxima wanted to help the economic by giving the people an opportunity to have a job. She help the poor people like giving them support. On 30 April 2013, she became the first Dutch queen consort since 1890.
"People in the street call me Maxima. At the end of the day, it's not that important to be called princess or queen. The important thing is the title we represent."
