God of the Middle

Williams Lake Trip

Wow, our hearts are full to bursting after a ten day trip to Williams Lake. We met with supporters and friends, and had a lot of quality time with our sending community. The trip culminated in a Sunday where we preached and shared on Sunday morning at Cariboo Bethel, and then in the evening we hosted a Panama dessert night. Over 45 people packed out the Vogts' living room and as we shared our stories, game, vision, and prayer requests for Panama, our community stood with us in solidarity.

They prayed for us and sent us off knowing that they are with us on this journey. One word that we received was that we are the grappling hook that is attaching Cariboo Bethel to Panama, and the MB churches there. It's not just us going -- we as a community are going.

We are also praising the Lord as we have seen our fundraising goal go from around 30% completed to 40%!!! What an encouragement! We are excited to be part of a team of Canadians investing in the work of God in Panama. Thanks for being part of this team with us.

We have 2 upcoming events next weekend (Apr. 15-17). Sarah will be going to a ladies' retreat at Rockridge Canyon, connecting with the women of North Langley Community Church and hosting a workshop on "Missions, who me?" This is a new step for her to teach like this. Please pray that God leads her in her preparation and sharing, and that hearts are touched.

Then on Sunday we are sharing at Central Heights (our home church in Abbotsford) in the morning and later having a dessert night. Pray that the Lord invites people's hearts to come out and join us. If you are in the lower mainland area, we'd love to see you there!

Blessings to you,

Tony, Sarah, Violet and Rosie
