Clarkes PTG Leadership
What is the PTG?
The Clarkes Parent Teacher Group (PTG) supports the education of our students by fostering relationships among the school and families. This is done by community building, volunteering, holding meetings, planning events, supporting educational and enrichment programs, and fundraising. The more family involvement we have, the stronger we can become!
We meet for an hour every first Monday of the month at 3:45 in the school library
Reasons to Join PTG
BENEFIT YOUR CHILD!
Research shows that children perform better when loved ones are
involved both at home and school.
2. GET CONNECTED!
There is no better way to know what’s happening at school.
3. TAP INTO A NETWORK!
PTG connects you to other families and teachers through meetings,
events and communication; which helps build a sense of community.
4. BE A ROLE MODEL
By becoming a PTG member, you’ll be demonstrating to your child the
importance you place on education.
5. WITNESS IMPROVEMENT!
By getting involved in PTG you’ll be part of the solution- helping to
make positive changes.
PTG Puts the FUN in Fundraising!
We have several fundraising events planned and ongoing fundraising opportunities available this year! Fundraisers are a great way to have fun helping our school thrive!
*FIRST FUNDRAISER OF THE YEAR*
Our first fundraiser of the year will be the ever popular Willamette Valley Pies! Order forms will go home with students and orders can be collected from October 16th-30th. Pies will then need to be picked up after school on November 15th. The pies come frozen so they are perfect for stocking up for the holidays!
Ready to Volunteer?
We have many exciting events planned for this school year and we can’t pull them off without our amazing Clarkes family volunteers! Whether you have an hour a year to pitch in or an hour a week, we have volunteer opportunities to meet everyone's busy schedule.
