Amendment four in my words
No police officer can just walk into your house unless they have a search warrant and a good exact reason why they have to search and exactly where.
Name of court case
United States vs. Leon 1983
Why they are going to court?
Because a police officer stopped Leon and Evans for a traffic violation and had a warrant to search them and found marijuana. Evans is using the fourth amendment because the police officer searched with invalid warrant according to Leon.
The courts decision was ruling that evidence obtained under a warrant that is later used to be invalid could be used if the law enforcement officer acted reasonably.
