News and Reminders
- Absences: Please remember to send a note when your child returns to school!
- Lunch visitors: Please view this schedule for your assigned grade level day(s). We understand that there will be exceptions, such as birthdays and out of town family members, etc. We just ask that these exceptions be cleared in advance by an administrator, by calling the front office and speaking to a secretary.
- Peach Jar: If you are not receiving flyers from Peach Jar, you can visit their website and sign up manually. You can also opt out of certain types of flyers to lesson the number coming to your inbox. We suggest you at least accept school and PTO flyers so that you don't miss any important news.

Staff Spotlight
Aubrie Gower (New clinic assistant)
My name is Aubrie Gower. This is my second year as a clinic assistant with Klein ISD. I transferred here from Schultz Elementary to be closer to home. I am very excited to be starting as part of the Blackshear team. I have six wonderful kids, five of them go to school here at Blackshear and the other to Klein Cain. I look forward to the rest of the school year with you all and the years to come!
Gail Robinson (4th grade)
Angela Gail Robinson was born and raised in Tallulah, Louisiana. She graduated from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with a Marketing and Business Bachelors’ Degree. After she had been in the work force a while she realized she had a greater calling and a desire to work with children so she became alternatively certified in Elementary Education with a specialization in Special Education. She taught in Spring ISD for eleven years and has been at Blackshear for four years. Her sincere desire is for every child that enters my classroom to feel safe and know they are valued and appreciated as unique individuals. She has been married for 28 years and is the proud mother of three children; Trae, Taylor and Gabriel.
