Myth vs. Fact
Fact: Gifted students need just as much time, attention and support from their teachers as their peers in order to reach their full potential.
Students that are not properly challenged in schools can often become bored, uninterested and some will even eventually drop out of school if they do not receive the proper support they need.
Below you will find some helpful tips for how you can create a learning environment for gifted students in your classroom that may help them take their learning to the next level.
Time Management Strategies: use anchor activities, take time to have individual student conferences to assess what type of progress is being made, establish consistent routines, and sample student work and provide feedback on a consistent basis.
