Hello January!
It was so nice to welcome all our smiling students back to school this morning. We know you miss having them at home with you, but it is our turn for the next 9 weeks, but who’s counting?!
Now that January is here, remember to send your child in layers and ready for the elements. Students have 2 outdoor recesses a day and do not have the option to stay indoors. We avoid going outside when the temperature and windchill are below -26 and we follow the recommendations from the Peterborough Health Unit.
Prior to the break there were a few occasions when kids were not picked up after school. Please make every effort to arrive by 3:20 as our staff leave shortly after the bell. School drop off is at 8:45 when supervision starts and pick up is immediately after the 3:20 bell.
