Halloween Parade & Carnival at SMS
Cheer on Ghouls, Goblins, Pumpkins, and Superheroes
Join Us Tomorrow Starting at 8 A.M.
Meet the scariest bunch you've ever seen at the St. Mary School blacktop for morning prayer and assembly. After assembly, buddies will join together to prepare to parade through Lyndon Avenue, down Santa Cruz Avenue and then onto Bean Avenue through the school gate.
The parade order is as follows:
- 8th grade leads
- followed by the 7th graders and their 1st grade buddies,
- followed by the 6th graders and their 2nd grade buddies,
- followed by the 5th graders and their Kinder buddies
- followed by 4th grade,
- followed by 3rd grade, and finally,
- TK who will be the last to return to campus.
We can't wait to see you cheer us on along the way.
Please remember guidelines for costumes as communicated by your homeroom teachers. As always, modesty is the rule of thumb and uniforms are always welcome!
The Student Council will be announcing Best Costume winners at the end of the day (12:20-12:25) for one girl and one boy from each class and one boy and one girl as the Overall Best Costume for the school.
After the parade, classes will enjoy the Carnival starting at 9 A.M. The Carnival is an 8th grade outreach project benefiting the Dircio Family Fund.
