We Live the Word!
From the Principal's Desk
Dear FJVD Families,
It's a great (and busy!) weekend to be an FJVD Saint! This Saturday we have our Barrington Book Fair starting at 9am at Barrington Books in Cranston. Stop by to hear a performance from our Singing Saints Choir and meet Frozen II Little Book author Nancy Cote!
In addition, it's time for our 62nd Annual Snowflake Bazaar! Join us at the Parish Center from 8am-5pm on Saturday or 8:30am-1:30pm on Sunday. Be sure to stop by the ornament booth to see the great work of our students, and don't forget to visit me at the Raffle Table for your chance to win big!
Believe it or not, preparations are also well underway for our Annual Auction to be held March 28th at Harbor Lights in Warwick. Part of these preparations include the creation of Class Baskets. Please click here for more information regarding these wonderful auction items!
Lastly, the lunch calendar for the month of December is due Thursday, November 21st. You can find the lunch calendar under Forms and Important Documents below.
As always, please be sure to continue to read through the remainder of the Newsletter to learn more about upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, etc. Thank you!

Bottle Cap Drive
We’re excited to share that our school is part of the Coca-Cola Give program. This opens up
Father John V. Doyle School to new funding opportunities to help improve learning environments for students. The best part? Donations don’t come out of your own pocket. When you make Coca-Cola purchases, you simply send in bottle caps or product codes from boxes of beverages and our school receives a donation.
All caps and codes should be sent to Mr. Godin. Codes will be entered on one account to gain larger and quicker donations.
Thank you!
