3 Missing Boys
Facts on the new town mystery
3 Missing Boys.
Reporter: Kaitlyn Hein
Tom Sawyer, Huckleberry Finn, and Joe Harper were all reported missing after they didn't come home. The biggest question is; Are they dead or alive? The boys were playing together Thursday night and never came home. The theory right now is that the boys drowned swimming. There was a little hope until the officials found an abandoned raft on the shore of the Mississippi River. The funeral for the boys will be held Sunday if the boys aren't back by then. If you learn anything notify the police immediately.Huckleberry Finn

Interview with Samuel Clemens a.k.a Mark Twain.
Three Questions about The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.
KH: Mr. Twain, in your new book, I enjoyed your allusion to Robin Hood when the boys were playing games on the island. Why did you choose that particular allusion?
MT: I choose the allusion of Robin Hood because that story was always a favorite of mine and I believed that other people would like it too.
KH: Mr.Twain, in your new book, there is a lot of drama going on between Tom Sawyer and Becky Thatcher. Was there a lot of drama between you and a girl when you were Tom's age?
MT: No but my friend was in a situation like Tom's so I wrote about his experience,
KH: One last question. Did you get into as must trouble as Tom does when you where his age?
MT: I didn't get in as much trouble as Tom does, but I did get a few lickins' when I was his age.
KH: Thank you Mr. Twain. That concludes our interview for today. Read next weeks paper to see an interview with Jane Austen.
