Poplar Grove Post
January 2020
NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL:
Welcome to 2020! We are excited to begin a new year and new semester at Poplar Grove Middle School. Our students finished the year strong and displayed significant academic progress over the course of the first semester. Mrs. Martha Haynes has been voted the PGMS Teacher of the Year by her colleagues. We are so proud of the work Mrs. Haynes does on a daily basis and feel blessed to have her serve at PGMS. Mrs. Haynes will go on to compete at the district level for FSSD Teacher of the Year! Way to go, Mrs. Haynes!

CLINIC NEWS FROM NURSE LIZ:
On a sunny, chilly Saturday December morning, I hosted these 6th grade girls to a manicure, lunch at Tito’s and frozen custard at Whit’s. This was the “teacher” experience I offered for fall fest. I had a great time and enjoyed the “girl time” with these young ladies!
Happy 2020! I hope everyone had a safe, healthy holiday!
