Daddy Daughter Dance

February 8th 7-8:30. Tickets are $10 per family, please purchase your tickets in advance at IHES from Mrs. McCoy between 7:00-7:30 before school starts because there is a limited amount of tickets available.

Recorders for Music

5th graders will be learning how to play the recorder in music. The price of the recorder is $5 and Mrs. Odom suggests buying 2 so that students have one at school and one at home. Please send $5 with your daughter by January 25th!

Girls on the Run

Technology Use

As you know, the use of technology is encouraged in our classroom and over the break many students got new technology such as iPads, tablets, iPod/ iTouch, and cell phones.


For your daughter to bring any technological device to school, you must first sign the technology waiver and return it to school. If the device is brought to school, it is for educational purposes only and will only be used at the appropriate time for learning. Students will not be allowed to use their device at lunch or recess.
