Fall activities are wrapping up and winter sports are around the corner. I would like to extend an invitation to all parents and students to attend and enjoy all CMS activities throughout the year. Parents, your support of CMS extracurricular activities is greatly appreciated.
Please continue to monitor your student’s academic progress by using the Cartersville City Schools App and the agenda. Students are charged with recording daily assignments and/or specific learning targets in their agenda every day.

Classroom Guidance
Our classroom guidance lessons will vary by grade level. Eighth grade students will complete their YouScience assessments, which provide feedback on how their natural abilities can be applied in their daily lives and in their careers. Please contact Mrs. Weeks if you are interested in learning about your child’s YouScience results.
Dr. Jackson will be working with 7th grade students on their study, organization, and time management skills. While all counselors will incorporate information about the dangers/risks of substance abuse into these lessons, Mrs. Mero’s emphasis for 6th grade will be exclusively on this topic.
As always, if you have any concerns, please email your student’s counselor.
