Happy Friday, Everitt families!
Thank you to all of you who joined us for International Night last night! It was a wonderful celebration of all of the beautiful cultures represented at Everitt. Thank you, especially, to our PTA, our Junior Optimists Club, our Spanish students, our families who created trifold boards to share their cultures with us, and to Angie Neve and Edgar Solis for the countless hours you put in to make the evening so special.
This week, our students participated in MAP testing in their ELA classes. Our students were so proud of themselves as they shared their growth this year in MAP. Next week, students will be testing in their math classes. We look forward to celebrating their growth in math as well!
Check out our calendar below as there are many wonderful events coming up!
Thank you for supporting and believing in your neighborhood school. It is our privilege to partner with you!

CELEBRATIONS!
Israel P. - We had a new student join our class who needs extra support and Israel is very willing to support this student in any activity that we do. Israel has displayed immense levels of kindness to this new student and all others in our class!
Indy E. - Indy thrives on thinking about difficult problems and enjoys sharing his thinking during math class. His contributions clarify and deepen the conversations.
Michael A. - Michael helped a new student in our class feel included and welcome. Michael included this new student into the game we were playing and helped him be successful. When the other student was excited to be both included and succeed, Michael helped celebrate that students success!
Maddie G. - During Class Maddie worked with students understanding how to calculate volume.
Daniela V. - Daniela helps build the Everitt community by helping include diverse members of our school. Whenever Daniela is in the hallway, she extends a friendly greeting to one of our DHH+ students and makes him feel welcome!
