From the Office
We kicked off the week on Monday morning with a student assembly showcasing the hard work and talent of our band and choir students! The Cadet & Concert Bands then held their Holiday Concert on Wednesday evening and Choir held their Holiday Concert on Thursday evening. Great job to all on their performances and thank you to Mrs. Metzger, Mr. Perry, Mrs. Krzysiak and Mrs. Greene for all their direction and support of the music programs!
On Tuesday our Student Council members participated in a Sharing Tree field trip, shopping for gifts for members of the Bloomingdale community and wrapping them. It has been a very festive week here at Westfield!
On Thursday some of the 6th graders walked over to DuJardin to read their animal adaptation books with the 1st graders they worked on the project with! Our students had a great experience. Thank you to Mr. Volkman, Mrs. Gilbert and Mrs. Greene, as well as DuJardin students and teachers for orchestrating this opportunity! (pictured)
