Organized sports are a big part of high school for many students. The Pius XI Athletic Department wants to make sure that they have reached out to all of the student athletes in the Class of 2026 with information regarding coaching, registration, and try out dates.
Please take a few moments to fill out this brief survey HERE regarding athletics for the upcoming school year. This is the best way to get your student on the radar of specific coaches.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email Kate Radosevic in the Athletic Office at email@example.com.

What's happening at Pius XI?
Torren Conner's, Asabikeshiinh, that won a Silver Key in the 2022 Scholastic Art Awards: Wisconsin Exhibition, has been selected to receive the Wisconsin Pastel Artists Award! An individual donor has chosen to honor Torren's artistic talents with a $200 cash award. Congratulations!
Copernicus, Galileo, Kepler, Herschel, Newton, Leavitt… Leavitt? Henrietta Swan Leavitt’s contribution to the field of astronomy is that she gave us the tools to map out the stars in the universe. She discovered the correlation between Period and Luminosity. This helped turn the sky into a three-dimensional map allowing astronomers to solve the unknown in the equation: Distance. A decade later in 1929, Edwin Hubble built off Leavitt’s work to demonstrate that the universe has more galaxies than just the Milky Way.
SILENT SKY by Lauren Gunderson tells the story of Leavitt, and her work at the Harvard Observatory in the early 1900's. Director Katie Johnson says, "in telling this story, we have challenged society’s outlook on what it is like to be an independent woman working for something much bigger than herself."
The production runs March 17-20 in our Black Box Theater! Purchase tickets HERE.
The Boys and Girls Seasons ended this past weekend. The coaches and players want to thank the Pius XI community - parents, staff, students and alum - for their support. The teams felt the pride for our great school throughout the entire season. Go Popes and Lady Popes!
