SAVE THE DATE!
U-FEST July 26, 2019
The Urbandale Education Foundation and Urbandale Alumni Association welcome community members to attend the first annual U-Fest at the Walker Johnston Softball Diamonds from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2019. U-Fest is a fun, festive, family-friendly event featuring food trucks, beverages, and live music performed by Melanie Wright (Urbandale High School Class of 1979) and her band, Company B. While they last, alumni souvenir cups will be distributed at the gates with a free drink ticket. Proceeds from the event will support student scholarships and classroom grants throughout the Urbandale Community School District. Admission to U-Fest is $10 and includes one beverage; $2 for ages 16 and younger. Tickets may be purchased at the gate. Parking is available off of Douglas Avenue at Walker Johnston Park. Community members are welcome to bring portable chairs or a blanket to relax and enjoy all of the festivities. Sponsorship opportunities for U-Fest are available and are a fantastic opportunity for local businesses and organizations to increase brand awareness while also making a valuable, tax-deductible contribution in support of students and educators throughout the Urbandale Community School District.
