November Newsletter
November is: Families, Food and Fun
Our Sunday STEAM program this month is also agriculture related. The World Awareness Children's Museum of Glens Falls will be bringing us a program called Great Grains. Using art, measuring and mapping, we will look at how our world has been shaped by the food we eat. The October Sunday STEAM was a success, giving families a chance to learn and have fun together. I am looking forward to more of the same and hope to see you there. Big thanks to the Greenwich Teachers' Association for the grant that is making these programs possible. And to the Agricultural Stewardship Association for co-sponsoring this month. Space is limited, so preregister now.
As the days get shorter, it's a great time to think about fun indoor activities that will pry everyone away from their screens and get them talking. If you've always thought you'd like to have a family or friends board game night, here is your chance to get started. This year, we'll be taking part in International Games Day. Library volunteer and board game enthusiast, Aaron Northrup will be on hand to introduce some games that may become your new favorites. This is a drop-in all ages event.
You can always check our website www.greenwichfreelibrary.org to see what's new on the shelves! We'll be closed for Veteran's Day and Thanksgiving, so don't forget to stock up.
And like us on Face Book to get all the latest news.
We're looking forward to seeing you. - Annie
