Feeling Overwhelmed?
Are you or your student struggling to keep up with school, have questions, or need help?
Please click HERE to submit your name and contact information. We will call you right away!
NCAA and IDVA
If your student is interested in pursuing college athletics, please, be aware that the NCAA has all K12 schools on “extended review” status. IDVA is a K12 school so is on extended review status with the NCAA. Students graduating from a K12 school applying for NCAA eligibility will be denied currently. After they are denied, they can work with the college Athletic Director to gain a waiver. K12 has helped students through this process and has noted that about 75% of these students do get the waivers.
If you have questions or would like more information, please contact your school counselor.

A Note from the Principal
IDVA’s Got Talent!
IDVA’s first ever talent show was a success! We had over 50 performers in Kindergarten through 5th grade show off their talents last Friday. We have always known we have great students here at IDVA, and it was wonderful to see we have very talented ones, as well. Dance routines, singing, artistry, and martial arts were just a few of the talents we enjoyed watching. This event was a fun and memorable way to see our students celebrated front and center.
Start thinking of your talent to show off next year!

Message from Your 6-12 Team
Hello IDVA 6-12 Families –
The end of the school year is just around the corner. There have been many emotional highs and lows these last several weeks as we have all experienced new routines and expectations. Research shows that when families and schools collaborate around shared goals, students come out on top. We appreciate how busy everyone’s schedules are, so it really sends a clear message to our students that their learning matters when we set aside time to highlight their achievements and set goals for continued progress.
In an effort to officially close out the school year, please take note of the following dates:
- May 18-21: Makeup testing for MAP
- May 21: IDVA Graduation
- May 25: Memorial Day, No School
- May 27-28: Online High School Finals
- May 28: Last Day of School
Report cards, ICA reports, and MAP test reports will be sent via USPS no later than June 22nd. Please make sure we have your correct mailing address on file and contact your homeroom teacher or advisor to make any changes.
We hope your student has not only enjoyed the year but has grown in many areas. Special thanks to each of you for your support in making Idaho Virtual Academy a wonderful place to learn.
Have a wonderful summer.
Go Wolves!

IDVA Online Graduation Ceremony
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel our traditional, in-person ceremonies. While we know that this might be a disappointment, we want to assure you that our graduates will be honored! We are currently hard at work planning for a unique and memorable online graduation that celebrates each graduate and this very special occasion.
Please mark your calendars for IDVA’s Grand Online Graduation ceremony on May 21st at 4:30 pm MT/3:30 pm PT! Let your family and friends know so they, too, can attend from anywhere in the nation or across the globe virtually!
Please see our Online Graduation Planning Guide for more information.
