Safety First... Always
We are a strong community that takes care of each other. Please, let's ensure that we are doing this on the roads as well. Slow down on campus and around campus. Sadly, there have been too many tragic auto/pedestrian accidents, all just minutes from Lietz. Please, be mindful that this is a neighborhood with homes. Respect property (driveways, other cars, homes).
Plan ahead, and leave a few minutes earlier. Driving fast and schools--those words just don't go well together.
Thank you for thinking of each other.

FREE Weekly COVID Screening at Lietz
This week's screening went great! Students received their test via a cheek swab. The proctor's administered the test and made sure to change gloves and sanitize between each student. It took approximately 2 minutes per student, and they left with a smile and sticker! The community testing pod at Dartmouth school will continue to offer rapid testing as well. Students will only participate in the no cost COVID testing if families have submitted the consent form at least 24 hours prior to our school's testing day. The testing day for Lietz will be Thursdays.
We encourage families to sign their child up for Grapefruit no cost COVID testing by clicking the button below or at this link: https://hipaa.jotform.com/form/212412514017441

Kimochi Parent Information Session (Used by K-2 Teachers)
Come join us for a parent evening to learn more about Kimochis. Kimochis allow our schools to help teach our students how to become more resilient and learn coping skills to be able to successfully cope with the challenges in life. Kimochis are a safe and non-threatening way for students to understand feelings and how to deal with them in a tactile and visual way. Kimochis curriculum supports social and emotional learning by targeting specific behaviors and feelings to promote academic and social-emotional success.
Please join us on October 26th from 6:00-7:00 p.m. for an informational evening to learn more about how your child’s school is using Kimochis and how you can support your child at home. The evening will be lead by the amazing Yonit Parenti M.S, P.P.S. Please use this link to register for the evening.
Halloween Parade Info!
While we are unable to have our traditional parade on campus with families and friends, we will do something fun for the students. We will have a Halloween Parade for students and staff on October 29! Students will wear their costumes to school and our parade will be first thing in the morning. Please have your child wear clothing under their costumes so they can easily change out of the costume if they'd like.
We want to encourage positive, child-appropriate costumes. Please remember that we have children as young as 5 at Lietz, and they will all be seeing the costumes.
- No blood/gore
- No masks at school
- No “weapon-like” props. (This includes items such as toy guns, knifes, swords, light sabers, etc.)
- Shoes must be appropriate for school
- Please do not have students bring hairspray/color
- or make-up with them to school
