Ms. Endacott's Class!
Students in Ms. Endacott's class learned how to greet the owner of a dog and ask permission to pet. Students were guided to put one hand out for the dog to sniff and then allowed to gently pet her on the back.
Students demonstrated great patience and communication skills and were really excited about this opportunity!
Ms. Abdnor Sepiol's Class Creates an Info graph for the Country they have Created!
Ms. Abdnor Sepiol's Class creates a Flipgrid to allow classmates to learn about the countries they have created. Students share their info graphs creating a short video in Flipgrid that allows them to discuss their creations. This unit has been an engaging way to learn about geography, scales, compass rose, latitude/longitude, landforms, etc.

Fire Drill at Winston Campus Elementary School
On September 24th, Winston Campus Students participated in a fire evacuation drill. Our staff and students did a phenomenal job quickly evacuating the building and reporting to our assembly area! Please remind students, when we are practicing for an emergency, it is very important to remain calm, listen to their teacher, and remain quiet so they can listen for instructions.
Safety is our number 1 concerns, the more we practice the more safe we become!
A Note from Nutritional Services:
Due to supply chain issues, we are unable to serve peanut butter and jelly sandwiches at our schools. We hope to have them back in stock soon, but in the meantime, we will be serving Protein Power Packs so students will have a vegetarian option.
We know many families print off their menus for the month. Please note that if we have to change an offering due to the shortage, we will update menus online each Friday so families will know if there are any changes for the following week. Please check regularly if your child has a favorite that may be in short supply.
