Evamere Week in Review

Dressing for Weather at Evamere

With the winter weather approaching, please make sure to dress your child appropriately for the outside temperature. Students go outside daily for recess in the morning/early afternoon when temperatures have not yet reached the “daily high.” When snow is on the ground, children are required to wear snow pants, snow boots, hats, and gloves to play in the snow.

With cold and flu season also quickly approaching, please use your best judgment as to whether your child is well enough to attend school. If your child is showing symptoms of an illness, such as coughing, congestion, or sore throat, please keep your child home. In the best interests of students and staff, when your child has had a fever or has been vomiting, per school policy, you must keep your child home for the following 24 hours.
