At Wildlight Elementary, Mr. Demeter and his students worked together to win the holiday door decorating contest for their building.

Don't Feed the Reindeer!

At Emma Love Hardee Elementary, Mrs. Brewis and Ms. Mullis won the holiday door decorating contest. The Amelia Musical Playhouse graciously donated two tickets to see "Scrooge" as the winning prize.

Singing & Reading the Holidays
Bryceville Elementary School recently hosted a Holiday Sing-A-Long. Teachers and families sang songs while enjoying cookies and hot cocoa. Students also read and quizzed on AR books. It was a great night for all!

Southside's Holiday

Southside Elementary enjoyed the Kindergarten Sing A Long with a packed out audience. kindergarten classes performed and staff members also participated with "All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth".


Rose Quartet

The Fernandina Beach High School Rose Quartet showcased their talents at the recent School Board Meeting.

Mighty Warrior Choir

Callahan Intermediate's Mighty Warrior Choir visited Bryceville Elementary to present a holiday concert. Everyone enjoyed the musical treat!


Holiday Buddy

Callahan Elementary hosts a "Backyard's Buddy" reading event every nine weeks. This time, their District Office mentor, Mr. Powell, joined in to bring his holiday book to life.

Field Trips, Ornaments, and Fun

Hillilard Elementary's Kindergarten students enjoyed an in-school field trip with Vintage Brush Decor. Each student made an ornament complete with lots of glitter and jewels. Students also enjoyed lunch from our Food Service's Grab & Grub food truck. A fun day was had by all!

Fifth-grade students got their creative juices flowing with an in-school field trip from Doing Dishes. Each student painted their own piece of pottery. Once kiln fired, they were then able to wrap and take home to give as a one of a kind gift to someone special. They finished out the day making Christmas crafts and enjoying the holiday spirit.

The second-grade classes at Hilliard Elementary presented their annual Christmas Program. Christmas poetry, prose and songs were enjoyed by friends, family & students this holiday season.

Special Delivery at Wildlight

The students at Wildlight had a fantastic surprise today when Santa paid a visit flying in on a helicopter! The sheer joy and excitement on their faces as they realized who was on the helicopter was priceless! Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Cremata for providing such a wonderful experience for our students. It was truly a day we will never forget! It’s a great day to be a Trailblazer!

Ugly Sweaters, Great Teamwork

As part of the week-long fun, Emma Love Hardee's Ms. Smith and Mr. Cubbal decided two heads were better than one when deciding what to wear for the Ugly Sweater Day!
