Scholarships List
Apply, apply, apply!!!
Scholarships/Awards Listing: 2013-2014 School Year
Students,
The following pages are for you to reference as you begin applying for college scholarships. Here are some helpful hints when using this listing:
1. Please read each description carefully to be sure you qualify for the scholarship before applying. Pay close attention to GPA and test score requirements, application deadlines, etc. Some scholarships are university or gender specific. As you read through the list, delete any scholarships you do not qualify for or are interested in applying to. This will make it easier to keep track of potential scholarship opportunities.
2. Any letters of recommendations should be requested weeks in advance. Do not ask someone to write you a letter on short notice!
3. Dollar amounts of awards, while important at first glance, should not be the final factor when you are applying. Smaller amounts will add up quickly.
4. Links are provided for most awards if you have questions. If it doesn’t have a link, please Google the award title. If that doesn’t work, contact the GHS Counseling Office.
5. Links to University-specific listings of scholarships
