Wow!!!! Time flies when you're having fun! 🙂
4th Math---we are trying to wind down the semester and we are currently reviewing previously taught information. We are going back to solidify some difficult topics such as expanded notation, decimals, fractions, multiplication, and division. The students have shown a lot of grown this semester and I couldn't be more proud. 🙂
4th Science--we are currently studying renewable and non-renewable resources. The students are having fun discussing examples they see and use as well as ways we can conserve our non-renewable resources.
5th Science--we are wrapping up our unit on weathering and erosion. We have had some great discussions over the processes involved in the formation of sedimentary rocks and fossil fuels. We have compared and contrasted both and the students had some very interesting perspectives. We even looked at pictures of some natural land formations that were formed or affected by weathering or erosion.
Please keep an eye out for information about activities happening before the break. There's a lot going on!
Thank you for sharing your children with me,
Mrs. Brown 🙂
