- Virtual classroom teachers will share specifics, but some items that need to be returned include: science and social studies textbooks, CMP math books, calculators, classroom library books, Media Center books, angle rulers, Tinybit robot kits, school owned instruments, etc. Items may vary by student or teacher.
- Virtual students who ordered yearbooks will pick them up that day. (Hybrid students will get theirs later in the week.)
- 6th graders will receive a gift from the PTO as well.
Please plan on stopping by the building Tuesday, June 8!

BAND & ORCHESTRA
INSTRUMENT RETURNS
SCHOOL OWNED INSTRUMENTS:
If you play a school-owned instrument, please return the instrument to school by Wednesday, June 2nd. If you are continuing with band next year, your instrument will be checked over and returned to you in a few days for use over the summer.
RENTED INSTRUMENTS:
If you are renting your instrument and continuing with band next year, keep your instrument over the summer and practice when you can to help you prepare for the new school year. In addition, most rent-to-own programs reset if you return the instrument over the summer.
If you are renting your instrument and you are not continuing with band next year, you may return the instrument to the store* after May 31st. It is my recommendation that you check to see how much of the instrument you have paid off. Some families of 6th graders may find that they are close to paying off the instrument an owning it. A quality instrument retains value and can be viewed as an asset for use in the future either by a younger sibling, another family member, a family friend, or for resale.
*Unlike some past years, we are not collecting Marshall Music instrument returns here at school. You will have to return the instrument to the store yourself.

MEADOWS DIRECTORY
Directories have arrived and were handed out to In-Person students by their homeroom teachers this week. Virtual students will receive their directories at the next materials day, Tuesday June 8. All families will receive a directory, but only families who requested to be included have their information listed.
Please remember that the directories are for personal/school related use by Meadows families and staff and is not intended for commercial/business purposes or distribution. Our hope is that the directories will help families support one another and stay connected as our students progress through the years together in Novi.

GET TO KNOW THE NEF ON JUNE 3
We would like to invite you to our "Get to Know the NEF" meeting. We are the 501(c)(3) that supports all 6,500 students in the Novi Community School District.
This is not a fundraiser, it is an opportunity to learn more about the NEF and the direct impact we have on our school district.
The Novi Educational Foundation enriches the educational experience of each student by supporting opportunities that require financial resources beyond the district's contribution. We are passionate about developing student's social, emotional and mental health skills. These skills include leadership, interpersonal communication, relationship building, conflict management, critical thinking and self-confidence. We execute this mission by providing funds for district wide programs, grants and scholarships. These funds are obtained through fundraising, individual contributions, sponsorships and endowments supporting our teachers, students and their families.
Please join us!
When: Thursday June 3
Time: from 6:30-8:00 PM
