First Week of School
It has been a wonderful first week of school, and we are thrilled to see each of our awesome students in their new classrooms this week! We have such an amazing group of children in our school, and we are blessed to be able to play an integral part in each child's education! Thank you for sharing your children with us this school year!
Ice Cream Cards
Each Friday, our 6th Grade students sell ice cream in the afternoon, as they are raising money for their spring class trip. If you are interested in participating, you can either purchase an ice cream card for the school year for $35, or you can bring $1.00 each week. The elementary children can keep their dollar in their backpack until it is time for ice cream; preschool children can give their dollar to the classroom teacher.
Tuition
Tuition is charged weekly and is late at the end of business on Tuesday. There is a $25.00 late fee assessed beginning on Wednesday. Tuition can be paid through automatic bank draft or through a card in Alma. In addition, tuition can be paid by check or money order in the school; we also accept cash in the school between the hours of 7:00 and 5:00.
You can choose to pay bi-weekly or monthly as long as you are paying in advance.
Parent Referral
We are so excited to have each of you in our Merryhill family and would love to add your family and friends to our Merryhill family! If you know of someone that is looking for a great school for their child, we appreciate you recommending them to our school. Please remind those people to let us know that you referred them; after the new child is enrolled for three consecutive months, you receive a free week of tuition as a thank you for the referral!
Parking Lot
Please be cautious with your speed in the parking lot, as we have children crossing. We ask that you drive 10 mph or less. As a reminder, you can park in the parking spaces or in the spaces near the curb; please do not park in the fire lane.
Naps
Children are welcome to bring sheet, blanket, and/or pillow for nap time; however, please be reminded that any items that are brought must fit into the child's backpack. Thank you.
Breakfast
Please be reminded that children should remain in the cafeteria if they are eating breakfast, and breakfast should be complete by 8:00 a.m. You may bring breakfast in, or you can choose to purchase cereal and milk for $1.00/day.
Parenting Resources - Back to School
We are excited about being back to the routine of a new school year; here is an article to help our children get back in that routine.
Box Tops
We collect Box Tops for Education. We appreciate your support in collecting these; please turn them in to your child's teacher.
