We are so close to our goal! Can you help?

Pioneer Elementary is continuing with their yearly tradition, Pioneer Holiday Donation Drive. This year we will be sponsoring some of our families by providing gift cards that can be used to buy gifts for children and adults along with food. Examples of gift cards can include King Soopers, Safeway, Walmart, Amazon, etc. We ask that all donations be received December 14th by noon. Since classes will be remote, we will have a basket inside our entry doors for collection.

EPR Information for Parents (REPORT CARDS)

Parents/guardians can access the Elementary Progress Report (EPR) for semester 1 beginning Saturday, Dec. 19 at 9 a.m. via the EngagED Parent Portal. Parents will use their district SSO credentials which are the same for Infinite Campus and EngagED portals. Families, please verify you have a parent portal account set up prior to Dec. 19. Teachers put many hours into updating families on the progress of their children. Last year we only had about 50 percent of our families access their child's EPR (Report Card) online. IF you would like a paper copy, please email Lisa de la Pena@ lmdelapena@dcsdk12.org to request one be mailed to you.

Pioneer Elementary – School Code PINR

All orders must be placed no later than Friday, December 11th!

  • Student will need to enter their school code to shop.
  • Payment will be made with a credit or debit card.
  • All orders placed online will be sent directly to the student’s home.
  • Students will receive a free self-sealing mylar gift bag for every item purchased!

Meals Bags During Remote Learning

Starting Tuesday, December 1, DCSD’s Nutrition Services Department will begin meal bag pickup sites with free meals available to all children ages 18 and under. Meal pickups will take place every Tuesday and Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. On Tuesdays, children will receive three days' worth of breakfasts and lunches, and on Fridays, children will receive four days' worth of breakfasts and lunches.   • There will be no remote meal bag pickups during Winter Break (12/21/20-1/1/21)
  • The last week of school in December, pickups will be 12/15 and 12/17 due to a staff furlough day on 12/18.

STEP 1: CREATE AN ONLINE DIGITAL ACCOUNT
**NOTE: If you already have an online digital account, skip to STEP 2**

  1. Go to www.kingsoopers.com
  2. Select ‘Create an Account’
  3. Enter your zip code and select your preferred store.
  4. Create your sign-in information-enter your email and create a password.
  5. Enter your King Soopers Loyalty Card Number or Alt ID or create your Alt ID Online.
  6. Select ‘Create Account’
  7. Continue to STEP #2

STEP 2: LINK YOUR ACCOUNT TO OUR COMMUNITY REWARDS PROGRAM

  1. Sign-in using your email and password. (This will be the email and password you created in STEP 1)
  2. Select ‘My Account’ from drop down menu. Then select ‘Community Rewards’ from the menu on the left-hand side.
  3. Under ‘Find an Organization’: Enter PIONEER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PTO or KC054 and select our school.
  4. You should now see Pioneer listed under ‘Community Rewards’ on your Account Summary page.
  5. You have successfully linked your loyalty card to our rewards program. Thank you for supporting education excellence at Pioneer!

Each year, the Douglas County School District community celebrates its outstanding teachers and staff through the annual Apple Awards. Our teachers and staff have shown extraordinary efforts this year to help ensure students' success, and we are very excited to announce the opening of this year's Apple Awards nomination process!
