The Muscular System
How the muscles work
The muscles help you move. There are 3 different kinds of muscles in your body and they are the smooth muscle, cardiac muscle and the voluntary muscle. You control the voluntary muscles in the body. Muscles contract when your arm bends and muscles expand when you straighten your arm.
What could go wrong?
Muscles won't do it's job if the brain doesn't tell you to do it. If your bone breaks your muscles won't move.
What interacts with the muscular system?
The nervous system interacts with the muscular system because the brain tells your muscles to move. Neurons of the nervous system are connected to most cells in the muscular system.
The brain guides the muscles where to move. The brain is connected to lots of cells in the muscular system.
