What we learned this week

Social Studies-This we week we learned all about Texas resources. The students worked in groups of three to research information about their assigned Texas resource and created presentations to teach their class. Essentially, the students and their group members became "experts" on their topic and taught the rest of their classmates about the topic they learned about.

ELA-This week we briefly discussed the writing process. The students are still practicing and working very hard in building both their reading and writing stamina!

Math (Seeberger): We briefly reviewed how to add and subtract numbers with regrouping and subtracting across zero’s. We learned how to solve multi-step addition and subtraction word problems using model drawing, pictures, and numbers and words.

Science (Seeberger): We learned about the physical changes in matter.
