Fiji has different gesture than then America. In America we greet by saying hi in Fiji they close there mouth and hum mmm-mmm. Tilting your head down and avoiding eye contact is polite. Hands on your hips mean aggressiveness. Its disrespectful if you touch someone on his/her head not including children
Religion
Most Fijian people are Christian and Methodists. Freedom of religion is guaranteed by the constitution. There are churches for each religion they have in Fiji. Other religions are Muslim, Hindu, and Roman Catholics.
