Counselor News from Mrs. Bokinsky
Happy Holidays LES Families! It is almost time to take a break and enjoy some time with family and friends. I am pleased to say that 16 of our LES families will have the help that they need from the Giving Tree. Thank you to all of you that have made the Giving Tree a success once again this year. We have several area churches, local bands, grandparents, volunteers, and LES families that all help to make the holidays special for others. Don’t forget, all gifts are due this Friday, December 13, wrapped and tagged. Thank you!
We crushed our Pennies for Patients Goal of $750. As a school, we raised a total of $874.95 that will be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I am so proud of our school. Way to go Team LES!
As always, if you have any questions or concerns about your students or events at school, please email me at stacy.bokinsky@fcps.org or call at 240-236-3755.
PTA IS CALLING ALL BAKERS AND COOKIE MAKERS!
As you are preparing holiday goodies for your family please consider an extra batch for our amazing LES staff!
We will be collecting cookies all day on December 16 and serving a sweet buffet on Tuesday December 17.
Remember, they have the challenge of keeping our children focused on learning during this exciting season of holiday anticipation!
It's a tough job and we'd like them to end the year with some sweet treats!
