The location is on the side of North America and Eurasia.
Climate and weather
The winters are up to 6 months an the summers are only 50-100 days. The weather in the winter is below 0°and the tempature in summer is up to 70°. The annual precipitation is 15-20 inches.
Birds
The taiga is home to many birds such as, bald eagles, chickadees,woodpeckers, and warblers.
Plants
Since the climate in taiga is very cold there is not a lot of plants. Some trees found in taiga include conifer trees, there are 4 different type of conifer trees. They are, spruce,fir,pine and tamarack.
Animals
Some large animals in the Tagia region include, moose, deer, and bears. The smaller animals include, bobcats, squirrels,chipmunks,ermine and moles.
Human impact
Humans have impacted taiga by cutting down trees. The main industries have also had a negative impact on taiga. The. Main industries are, logging, mining, and hydroelectric development.
