Weekly Happenings

Week 03/30/2021

Greetings MCS Families,

It was so great to get students back into the classroom for 4 days a week. The students and staff have been buzzing with excitement throughout the last week. I wanted to thank all of you for being patient with the changes we have gone through this year. It just shows that we have a strong MCS community that works well together to do what is best for our kids. I also want to give credit to our teachers, aides, and office staff for the amount of time they put in this year in order to provide the best education during these unprecedented times.

I want to remind you that tomorrow is an at home/online learning day. The reason I have changed the language to at home/online learning is because not all teachers are going to provide work online. A majority of the work will be sent home with your child today to work on for tomorrow with directions from their teacher. This will vary depending on the teacher, but if you have any questions please contact them directly. Your child will still be required to check in for attendance through the Google Classroom attendance. If you find after tomorrow you are not going to be utilizing a school loaned Chromebook, please return it to the office.

I also want to thank you for adapting to the changes in the drop off + pick up routines. It has been much smoother than expected! A couple important reminders when you drop off, if you need to get out of your car please park and do so. Also, if someone is unloading in front of you and you are further back, please wait to unload until you are as close to the front as possible. This helps prevent cars from backing up on to F street.

Again, thank you for your understanding as we navigate this year and work to get kids back. We couldn’t do it without your cooperation and understanding.

Have a great week!

Sincerely,

Tony Bonuccelli

Administrator, Moscow Charter School

- Pictures of how your student/families have adapted to schooling at home

- Pictures MUST include: first last name of the student(s) in the picture, grade(s) they are in, a brief description of what is happening in the photo.

Please feel free to share this link with anyone that might be interested and would be a good fit for our MCS family.
