Mrs. Ashley Gorman
Mrs. Ashley Gorman graduated Summa Cum Laude from West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Minor in Reading. She taught elementary and secondary English in the Philadelphia area for five years before moving to Austin in 2010. Mrs. Gorman began working at Harmony School of Excellence-Austin as a 7th grade English language arts teacher, also serving as English department chair. Over the past six years, she has had the privilege of teaching 6th-8th grade English Language Arts, serving as a reading specialist, and enhancing the learning community as the middle school Dean of Academics. She is humbled by the amazing individuals in her life; her loving husband- Randy, a family who has supported her throughout her journey, and the wonderful educators who impact lives each and every day.
Access Your Child's Digital Text Book
Your child will enter his birthday, Skyward student ID, and school email address.
Once your child claims his account, he will log in with his school email and password. (Your child can create his / her own password as well.)
You will then be able to access our online resources. Please log into Skyward to access your child's ID and email address.
Weekly Progress Reports & After School Tutorial Support
Please have your him attend after-school tutorials for additional support. Starting next week, students who attend after-school tutorial sessions will receive a Tutorial Ticket which indicates the subject, date, and notes from the teacher.
Please ask your child for this slip as evidence that he attended the session. Please see the following images for the tutorial schedule and an image of the Tutorial Ticket. Thank you for your support.

Middle School Saturday School
The school is notifying parents by sending School Reach messages, emails, and making phone calls. If you receive one of these notices and your child cannot make a session, please email Ashley Gorman at ameyer@harmonytx.org. Be sure to include the name of your child, the date of absence, and the reason why he/she will not attend in the email.

Build Your Future in the Design & Construct Industry
The ACE Mentor Program is a free after school program open to any high school student who has the curiosity and drive to learn about a career in design and construction — from contracting and engineering to architecture and landscaping. You’ll join a team of other students led by adult mentors who are practicing industry professionals.
ACE isn’t about merely describing specific professions, it’s about immersing you in the profession by engaging you in actual building projects. These can range from new schools and mixed-use developments to amphitheaters and temporary housing.

Thursday evenings, 6:30 - 8:30 PM
