Tchaikovsky's Early Life

Piotr Ilych Tchaikovsky was born on May 7, 1840 in Votkinsk, Russia. He lived with his insensitive mother, Alexandra, his father, Ilya Petrovich, his half-sister Zinaida, older brother Nikolay, and younger sister Alexandra. He was a very sensitive person as a child and that is where he gets the emotion to his songs from. At age 3, his mother had gotten a nanny named Fanny and she proved to later in his life, be a big influence in this musician's life, even though she didn't encourage music very early on in his life.
