MESSAGE FROM MR. FITZPATRICK
As the school year begins, there are three major events that are important in kicking off the year. The first (and my most important) one is the first day of school which happened on Sept 6. The next one is the first PTO meeting which was held on Sept 14. The final event is Back to School Night which was held this past Wednesday evening. It was so exciting to see so many parents in our halls and classrooms. It has been awhile. We all hope you found the information shared with you to be informative and helpful. We truly do appreciate the partnership between home and school.
Many students and parents are comfortable around dogs. But we do have quite a few who are not. We ask that you please do not bring your dog (no matter how playful or calm). The sight of a dog does trigger some anxiety in some of our students. We appreciate your cooperation.
Finally, some of you may have noticed that the GaGa Pit is missing the sides. Last spring, the pit was vandalized over a weekend and several boards were destroyed. We tried to patch it up but more other boards became loose and some were just rotting due to age. It was becoming unsafe for our students. So, in the interest of safety, the side planks were removed.
