Willbern Whale Tales
NOVEMBER 2022
Notes from Mrs. Roberson
Happy November!! We have another month of great opportunities for students and their families to participate in the life of our school. Please take the time to jot down these dates on your calendars so you don't miss a thing.
As you know, our metal security fencing is finally up and the locks are working. This is a great asset to our security protocols as we are frequently called outside to ask non-school adults to leave the property during school hours. Our grounds are still open to the public from 6:00pm-9:00pm during the week and from 6:00am-9:00pm on the weekends.
The flu and stomach virus season are upon us as I am sure many of you have already experienced. We are deep cleaning our building and encouraging students to wash their hands. We could use your help too! Please send your child to school with a water bottle. Nothing fancy, just a plastic water bottle that can be refilled. This is much more hygienic than students drinking from the water fountain. They may leave their bottles in their desks at the end of each day.
Our annual Multicultural Night is on November 15th. Our staff have been busily working behind the scenes planning an evening of learning and celebrating different cultures. I hope to see you on the 15th!
