Summer Food Service Program Training

The 2018 Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) will offer training for any organization or agency interested in participating in the program this year on May 3rd and May 4th. The Summer Food Service Program offers free meals to students 18 years of age and younger in the community. The program will run from May 29th until June 29th and again from July 9th until July 26th.
A two-week notice stating that you wish to participate in the program is required if you have not participated in the program prior to this year. The program director, the kitchen supervisor, and at least one other kitchen staff member must complete the one time training session:
May 3rd at 8:30 am; 10:30 a.m.; or 5:00 p.m.
May 4th at 8:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m.
Trainings will be held at the Henderson County Board of Education located at 1805 Second Street in Henderson. Registration is not required prior to attending the training session.
