First Week News!
We have started Math, English Language Arts, and Science. We will be starting spelling next week.
Water Bottle and Snacks
Also, if you child gets hungry mid-morning or mid-afternoon, please send an easy-to-eat snack every day. We will begin having a healthy snack (provided by the school) on Mondays and Wednesdays at the afternoon time. I would also appreciate any donations of classroom snacks for kids (Costco size goldfish or pretzels are always a hit :).

Reading and Math
Spelling will begin next week. Students will have the words in their planner, and there will also be a section on this newsletter with the spelling words. I will try to upload them to my website on a timely basis as well! You can write down your student's reading minutes on the September calender in their planner - reading for 20 minutes, five times a week can make a significant impact on your child's reading ability!
