Greetings, my name is Symphoni Davis and I have the pleasure of educating the 8th grade mathematicians at DeSoto West Middle School. It has been an honor to be in education since January 2020. I would like to thank my family, friends and coworkers for encouraging me through the times we are in today.

Native American Heritage Month DeSoto ISD celebrates National Native American Heritage Month, which pays tribute to the rich history and culture of the Native American tribes. Bush issued a proclamation making November National American Indian Heritage Month honoring all the past, present, and continuing contributions Native Americans have made to the country. | School Safety Meter Based on local health guidance and our monitoring of school district re-openings in other areas, DeSoto ISD has modified the district’s September 8, 2020, Reopening Plan as follows: On September 8, all DeSoto ISD students will begin the first four weeks of school via home-supervised learning through the Anytime, Anywhere Learning platform through October 2, 2020.
