Message from Mrs. Kilday
I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Did you do your homework? We are asking each child to bring a pumpkin to school on Monday or Tuesday. We have some exciting things planned for those pumpkins this week. If you forget or can't send one in, no worries, we have plenty of extra! You will find more details of our plans in the section below titled "Pumpkin STEAM Week". We promise to share lots of pictures!
We held our school council meeting last week. I want to give a big thank you to our members; Kerry Emde, Marissa Thomas, Ashlie LaCivita and Mary Bania. We had some great discussion focused around priority areas for our school this year, our school improvement plan and additional thoughts, ideas and suggestions.I will be presenting our school improvement plan to our school committee at the November 4th. One suggestion that came from our meeting is something you will now see in our newsletter; Acts of Kindness. Each week we will share a story of one of the many acts of kindness and empathy we see from our students during the week. There are many to choose from! I hope you enjoy this new section.
If there are other things you would like to see in our newsletter please don't hesitate to reach out to me. I want to be sure this venue works for everyone.
It's a full newsletter this week. I hope you enjoy it.
Have a great night everyone.
I will see you in the morning.
Donna
